How it works

A blind-box reveal with a physical item behind every result.

ArcTrove is being designed as a direct-retail storefront for physical collectibles—not a sweepstakes, free-entry promotion, or procedurally generated prize system. Commerce remains disabled while launch gates are incomplete.

Core purchase contract1 purchase = 1 unique physical collectibleOwned and vaulted before selection

From a physical reserve to your vault.

  1. 01

    Inventory is validated

A unique physical serial or inventory ID must be owned, located, eligible, and recorded before it can participate in selection.

  2. 02

    A disclosed pack is offered

The customer sees the purchase price, inventory class, published selection information, and applicable terms before checkout.

  3. 03

    One physical ID is selected

Deterministic randomness selects only an index from an active, pre-reserved physical inventory array. It cannot create an item or select inventory outside that reserve.

  4. 04

The item is assigned to the buyer

On a valid completed transaction, the physical inventory record moves atomically into the buyer's vault with its pull-time FMV, custody, policy, and receipt evidence preserved.

  5. 05

    A seven-day decision window begins

The current backend contract allows 604,800 seconds to commit a shipping reservation or accept an eligible sell-back. If no committed shipping reservation exists at the deadline, the current policy for newly published receipts schedules the card for automatic sale at 90% of its immutable pull-time FMV.

A 9,000-basis-point rate on immutable pull-time FMV.

If ArcTrove offers and approves a sell-back, the quote is based on the fair market value captured when the item was pulled—not a later price selected to change the outcome.

Pull-time FMV× 90%= cleared sale proceeds

The calculation uses integer cents and rounds down to a whole cent separately for each receipt; it never rounds up, changes the FMV frozen at pull time, or promises a fractional-cent amount.

The resulting amount enters the segregated cleared sale-proceeds balance, not site credit. Deposited funds, promotional credit, and site credit do not become withdrawable merely because a sell-back occurs.

A seven-day decision, not indefinite storage.

Availability is conditional. None of these operations is live today.

Decision window

Seven days in verified custody

The allocation remains in recorded custody while the owner chooses an eligible disposition. The current backend does not provide an indefinite keep state.

Fulfill

Commit a physical shipment

Eligible raw cards and authenticated graded slabs can be combined into a future shipment of one to three separately owned cards through USPS Ground Advantage after every required gate passes. Each pack still contains exactly one card.

Sell back

Accept a quote or reach the deadline

Under the current policy for newly published receipts, an eligible voluntary sell-back—or automatic sale when no committed shipping reservation exists at the deadline—uses 90% of recorded pull-time FMV, rounded down to a whole cent separately for each receipt and credited to the segregated cleared sale-proceeds balance, not site credit. No fractional-cent amount is promised.
